Thank You to the Mid Suffolk Cribbage League
We are delighted to share that HDCF has been chosen as the beneficiary of a very special donation from the Mid Suffolk Cribbage League. As is tradition in the league, the winning team gets to nominate a charity of their choice to receive a £200 donation. This year, the Bruisyard Village Hall team took the title — and their team member Dawn Simpson chose HDCF, explaining that as her mother had dementia, it felt a fitting and personal choice. On top of this generous donation, league members also came together on their finals night to collect a further £160+, bringing the total raised to over £360. We are so grateful to Dawn for her thoughtful nomination and to everyone in the Mid Suffolk Cribbage League for their kindness and generosity. Every pound raised helps us support people living with dementia and their unpaid carers across the Blyth Valley area. Thank you.
